Description

Eldorado Canyon State Park just outside of Boulder, Colorado offers over 11 miles of hiking trails. The specific trails in the park are the Eldorado Canyon Trail, Rattlesnake Gulch, Fowler Trail, Streamside Trail, and Crescent Meadows. These trails offer up gorgeous views of the canyon, some of the streams, and the surrounding mountains. They vary in difficulty greatly depending on which trail you choose. <br />
In addition to hiking, Eldorado Canyon is a very popular destination for Bouldering and Rock Climbing with over 500 technical rock climbing routes. Several of the trails are also open to mountain biking.

Directions

According to parks.state.co.us, "Eldorado Canyon State Park is located about five miles southwest of Boulder. Take Broadway / State Highway 93 south from Boulder, turn west (right) onto Colorado 170 and then continue about three miles to the town of Eldorado Springs. Highway 170 dead-ends at the town and a dirt road continues. The park is located at the end of the dirt road on the left. Our book store / visitor's center is one mile west from the park's entrance. "
